The Rev. Lisa Maxine Goods serves as Senior Pastor and Teacher of Kenwood United Church of Christ. Called to this ministry in June of 2017, Rev. Goods has the distinction of being the first female pastor in our church’s 131-year history. Rev. Reverend Dr. Leroy Sanders was born and raised on the south side of Chicago. He is a graduate of Burke Elementary School. He attended Tilden Technical High School and received his GED after attending Englewood evening school. In the pursuit of learning, Rev. Sanders attended IIT and Roosevelt University. Rev.
