Lashondria Purnell, RN, BSN, FCN
Lashondria Purnell was born and raised in Chicago, Il. She entered the Chicago Public School’s Practical Nursing Program and received dual diplomas as a high school and nursing graduate. The primitive phase of her career occurred at La Rabida Children’s Hospital as a Pediatric Nurse. In 1997, Ms. Purnell became a Registered Nurse and received a Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Indiana Wesleyan University.
Throughout her career, she served both adults and children under the umbrella of Chronic Disease. Those genres include Home Health Nursing, Home Infusion Therapy, Rehabilitation Nursing, Private Duty and various Pediatric specialties. Also, Ms. Purnell passionately served in various nations as a medical missionary. She offered Health Education, wound care, and general nursing care. In June 2017, Ms. Purnell was hired by Advocate Healthcare Systems as a Faith Community Nurse for Kenwood United Church of Christ.
